WOOHOO!!! It's happening!! Now sit back and WAIT another month. This wait already feels longer than the year and a half I've already been waiting.

Decided where you're going to stay yet?

All we need now is to get Brendan a class date; hopefully ZLA is hiring -- and soon. It'd be nice to see one of the biggest contributors to the community actually get his reward.

As an addendum - AQ told me that the day she called me, she was issuing 15 FOLs, so things have definitely been picking up with the ATO and in OKC; here's hoping to more happy news for we old guys.

I'm worried about getting everything done I need to in a month, so hopefully it will fly by...

My wife and kid are coming down with, so I'm looking into the family housing option at Kim's place.

It's definitely nice to see the ball rolling again, hopefully more guys from our "era" will be getting the word soon as well.

Holy cow, I love it! And you're right - the captions turn it into some ridiculous heap of a mess.

I hope you get in to OKC sooner just so I can meet you in person!

I got a class date too! July 30th I got a call out of the blue. Was expecting to have another 2-3 months before any movement. Was offered a class date in September, and I replied "I'll take the first thing I can get". Then she said there was a spot that opened if I could go in about 2 weeks. So I am now moving to OKC Wednesday. See you there!

I just looked back at this and thought to myself, "Man, I should have said the same thing to get in sooner!" Though when I started seeing names of folks that would be in class with me, I started to see that we were all headed to level 6-8 facilities. That's all I've been seeing from Kim's Place and from the class date thread on SM, so there could easily be higher-level facility folks as well, but otherwise it looks like a class of lower-level facility folks.

grats to all who have gotten class dates, still waiting here. Got some good news that my medical clearance is good for another year. Considering the trouble I had dealing with southern division medical, it is a big relief.

Congratulations to all of you guys with class dates now! Still waiting, no option to redirect right now. But, I am back in a patient mood again. Did everyone who had their medicals expire from the Chicago PEPC have to take theirs again or did they get extended as well? I thought I read it was only for people that expired in June or later that got the extension but I haven't seen any of you making posts about redoing your medicals.

From that last mass email, it seemed like I would have to redo my medical, but all they've mentioned so far is redoing the drug test, which I already did.

I feel like the earth is moving again... Geo Pref emails and class dates in the same couple of weeks.... awesome...

Yeah. After a long hiatus, it's nice to see the ball rolling for a few different groups. I wonder how many people forget about it altogether until just recently.

Got my Nov 2 En Route Class date today, pending drug test (no problem). I am so effin happy :beer:
