Received my FOL yesterday....July 21st, so very close, but it still feels years away.

Just out of curiosity, how long after you finished up all your clearances did it take to get the FOL? What announcement did you apply to?

Man, still waiting. No update whatsoever. :(

So agonizing. I feel like my entire life is just on hold right now.

The reason I ask is that my HR rep told me she wasn't going to issue a TOL until they had a place for me at OKC due to the clearance expiring and having to renew them, etc... Long story short, they issued me a TOL a few weeks ago and are pushing me to get everything knocked out. No mention of a FOL or potential class date as of right now though...

All clearences were fnished in Aug 09, so that would be about 8 1/2 mths. As for the annoucement it was Pub 5.

Well, I just got an email asking me to update my medical clearance so they can issue me a class date. WOOT! SO close now!

WOO HOO for me too, I just got the email from amanda stating I have to schedule medical again, 2.5 years, hopefully this is the light at the end of the tunnel, I have a question for you guys, I took the mmpi last year in July, I thought that would still be valid, is it not?. Anyone from Chi Pepc Mar 09 still waiting on info? My facility was originally scheduled for Moline(quad cities)

I was at that PEPC. Initially told I would get a date between April and Oct this year, now on hold until next fiscal year.

My fiance is waiting from that PEPC too. Had a few hiccups with his original medical clearance, but got a similar email a few weeks back. I know he had to redo the psych, drug, and physical for the medical refresh. He had a drug test scheduled in December to get his medical clearance from the PEPC (yeah, in March 2009!) so we didn't think he would have to retake that. But, turns out he had to do all 3 again. I think they group them all together so even if you just did the psych in July, everything still expired when the physical and drug tests did in March. We are hoping this is a good sign too!

ok guys, i had to retake the mpi, the expanded version:mad:, did the drug test and did my medical today, everything cleared but my blood pressure was a little high so he said the faa might say something about this, maybe, maybe not, now the wait continues

T-minus 4 months and counting until FY2011. Here's hoping that the metering for the next fiscal year includes us!

One can only hope, my rep said something about putting the schedules together in august so maybe we will know then. Knowing and still waiting is better than this imo.

I was at that PEPC too. I have gotten no email from AQ for redoing my clearances yet though.

I was in that PEPC too. I've heard nothing in the last 3 months. I'm not expecting to get a call until September or October.

Today is officially my 2 year anniversary since I applied!

So yeah, blood pressure was high, i have to go to the doctor 3 times for 3 readings and submit it to the faa showing its normal or that its being treated, wow, im just about to give up on this, im sick of all this nonstop application crap, 2 years and counting lol!

I was told last week that preliminary numbers show my facility has a need for me next fiscal year. Hard numbers come out in Sept. I've heard this all before, so hopefully things don't change this time around.
