Dang, I don't know which one I am more jealous of. Is it that you got a class date, or that you got 2 phone calls from HR in one day... You've talked to HR more today than I have in 6 months...

Did anyone get that weird email about if you have prior military experience/speed up the process with a bunch of attachments? What do I do with this?

Yeah, I did, i was just wondering what it mean't. I have a TOL, shouldn't they already know if we have prior military experience? Did you already email it back?
 
Yeah that email has been sent out a few times. Just email the guy back and say you don't have military experience or that you do have experience and give him the paperwork he asks about. Someone said it's supposed to push you through if you have military experience, but who knows. I don't know if it helps either way. :dunno::dunno:

Your class date is in Oct. right? I haven't received my FOL yet and I am on Nov 4th. Does it come by email?

This is part of the email I received from my HR rep "- for housing you can go to www.academy.faa.gov/ama100 , so you can be working on that part while you are awaiting the firm offer which will come via email only - then the academy will send you a fedex pkt as soon as they get it put together late
next week as well."
 
OK. So now I have a better understanding of how this thing works. Apparently, there are 4 people heading to my facility. However, I am the only one whose clearances are in. She's sending us to the academy together, so I can't go until the other 3 clear.

So, to those of you who are sitting around wondering why everyone else is getting a class date and you aren't, it's probably because other people heading to your facility aren't ready yet.
