I am traditional. I got my OF-306 seven days after my interview. I got my TOL 10 days after that.

Anyone know what to get the FAA fact sheet that we are suppose to fill out for HR?
It's on the FAA website. Didn't you get the paper about OnBoarding? Tells you how to get everything.

Maybe he meant the fill in the blank parts on the fact sheet?

Edit: Also I believe everyone should have gotton the fax number from PEPC where to fax it.

I haven't heard ANYTHING back from the email I sent to the MMPI people in my TOL. My physical is scheduled for July 6th.
Yeah I haven't heard anything on the MMPI either. The person that is scheduling me for the physical said she'd back on Monday from the PEPC.
Hopefully we'll be completely done in the next couple weeks.

Usually you get a phone call about a class date. Then the FOL is e-mailed. You get a packet in the mail a week or two prior to your academy start date.

Well, judging by the dates listed, that big pay cut he was talking about was probably the imposed work rules that the FAA forced on natca employees after contract negotiations fell through. He should have known what was going on with that at the time, and planned accordingly.
As far as training goes, that really sucks. I would have been in contact with all those politicians at the bottom of the page, trying to pull some strings before I resigned. I asked during my interview how long it takes to get fully certified at my facility and I was told on average, 3 years. That seems reasonable to me for a facility like ZNY.
I have also looked at housing in the area, and using the current pay scale and locality pay, I suspect I will have to spend 33% of my monthly salary on rent. That is about the same I paid the last time I was renting, so I am not too concerned.

I always think about Med School students doing their residency requirements by working 12 hours a day in a hospital and sometimes sleeping in the hospital only to get up and do it again. Getting paid barely enough to buy food for the day for four years straight before completing it. Coming out with a quarter million dollars of debt in school loans.
I bet ZMA is easier.
