Next PUBNAT is...

Oh wise RobertB...

what happens if we try to apply to both? Since each is supposed to be good for a year...can it even be done?

know anything about when PUBNAT 7 will hit panels? Are they going to push it through for the next meet?

I don't know if that is sarcasm or not, but you should apply to both announcements. Apply to as many announcements as are available that you qualify for.

What was the time frame for PUBNAT 7 finishing ATSATs? I ask because there is a PEPC scheduled in September that has not been assigned a location yet...

Don't worry about her :sarcasm: (if it was) just that she has already given out the information you've stated on this thread. So in short, its sort of a repost.

Although I didn't know about the Jan 25th 2010 date

My bad. I don't check this site much now that I am busy here in OKC. Thought I would just pass along the information though. There is also a PEPC scheduled for September that has not been assigned a location as of today, if you guys haven't heard that yet. Oh well, I am out...

No worries, I personally don't mind repost although others might flame.

There is so many threads out there you never know what has been or not been discussed.

I say more feedback the better. Especially from those who has made it to OKC and onward.

We need more of you guys to stick around with us while we wait this through.

How is OKC training? You terminal or en route? Where are you going to be station?

OKC training has been great so far. Basics was fine. Take the tests serious because you have to score a 90% or higher to have "passed" the tests. If you don't "pass" you have to retake the test the next day. For example: you get 30 questions and you aren't allowed to miss more than 3.

ITT (Initial Terminal Training) Basics was interesting because the information would actually be used and you had to score 80% or higher to "pass" the tests and they were not 30 question tests. For example: you could have 17 questions and if you miss 4 questions, you have to retake the test. ELT (End of Lesson Tests) were for your own checkup and were not "graded" like in Basics. Hint... If you know the ELT questions and answers, you should pass every Block Test in ITT Basics... Tower Visibilty should be taken seriously as well since you have to pass it with at least an 80%.

Table Tops/Tower 3D are great if you are in Tower 3D. You have ghost pilots calling everything in and everything comes at a realistic speed. In Table Tops, everyone seems to be out to screw over everyone else. Flight Data is pretty boring...
_____

I am terminal going to SAV.

CTO on Monday and then TSS starting next Wednesday.

This is good news. I was thinking that PUBNAT7 was my last chance, but it looks like I have at just one more shot after that.

When or if this PUBNAT comes out what areas are still in need of people? Im willing to go anywhere.....

Anyone know how staffing looks in NY/NC/SC/VA/PA?

As I've said before, contact facility managers to find out about staffing. Some might tell you, some might not.

Nobody here can really give you a good idea as to who needs how many people.

How does one go about finding the numbers to different facilities? In the Airport Facility Directory?

Not questioning the information, but how creditble is this information. Like many, I have been waiting for this announcment to come out.

I went with a buddy to submit a change to his medical insurance. The people we needed to talk to were not in their office so we were told to go across the hall into room 130. There is a board to the right, in a cubicle, that has all of the upcoming announcements listed and the upcoming PEPC dates and locations listed on it. The information is credible unless someone wrote in down wrong on the board...

Disagree with the last part. Someone going to a terminal can get an excellent idea by getting someone to check the "terminalapps" on a FAA computer...

Seattle and Chicago really need people as in they needed them last year...
