Hopefully we hire a lot of them.
Tru dat
Hopefully we hire a lot of them.
We won't start hiring for another month or so. Hopefully we hire a lot of them.
That would be the killer commercial - and print ad as well.
Really excellent commercial to play in the markets where Midwest was big (KC among them) is to have some pilots, FA's, and anyone else AT hires from Midwest on the same commercial. Something along the lines of:
"We all used to provide you with really great service at Midwest. Unfortunately, the people now running Midwest kept the paint, but gutted the airline and it is now flown by outsourced, inexperienced pilots and a cabin crew with no commitment to service. Thank goodness for Air Tran - we can now provide that same great service and experience for them. Fly Air Tran!"

To be honest with you I don't think people care.
The weird thing is that the people in MKE actually do seem to care. It's one of the few union towns left in America, and they had real loyalty to what they viewed as the "home town airline" until Bedford decided to soil it.

It is probably time for a changing of the Cabin Staff as I have found that they usually have a better than thou type of attitude and treat the people that are not in Business Class or First Class as if they are not worthy. Some are very good but it is just the impression that I get. Well guess what those are the people that will quickly jump ship and spend their money on Airlines with friendlier more attentive cabin staff.
That's what makes the midwest US such a quirky, but good place to live, people actually give a poop about their neighbors.

MKE is good people.
I'd put down money this will be seen for years to come as the biggest mistake by YX ever.
You don't F with Midwestern folks. They are more vindictive than New Englanders.
I'm trying to figure out how renegging on a promise falls inline with 'christian values.'.
We live in phoenix where many people put up the christian front but don't actually follow it so he must have roots here.
