Yo ATN_Pilot

If you say so.

Always trolling...

Yah what's up with that? Some of ya'll rubbing a DAL 717 onto an AirTran 717 pilot, and all he does is show an original Tran 717 (which does look pretty good in those colors), and ya throw an outdated pic of a DC9 of Valujet. C'mon now

@ATN_Pilot call me crazy, but I liked the original colors moreso than the new livery:

Most of them were still in those colors when I got hired. I liked both, but the model I have on my desk is in the original colors.

One should embrace and honor their company’s legacy.

I have ValuJet memorabilia in my home office along with my other airline knickknacks. Doesn’t have much to do with the 717, the topic of this thread, though. You know, unless you’re just trolling. As you’re want to do.

Maybe I'm the outlier here, but the 717 in Delta colors was more of a playful jibe at Todd. (*)

I didn't see the ValuJet DC9 as a slam against AirTran because AirTran WAS ValuJet before the AirTran acquisition.

Perhaps I'm blind but I didn't see the implication of the "LOL, here's ValuJet 592" as all I saw was a VJ DC9

Yup, that Delta 727 crashed for an idiotic reason.

I created the thread, (*) that is what it was about, don't adopt it and make it into some "Big evil Delta Borg space cube picks on innocent airline trying to make a buck outta 15 cent".

And shut your pie hole, @Cherokee_Cruiser, I WILL MAKE YOU CRY PUBLICLY. :) (No, not literally, again, a playful jibe, not meaning that I have the intention of crassly belittling another person to the point of a emotional public breakdown)

You heard the rumot here first! SJI is getting giant Borg space cubes.

It won't pay much but you'll get all the nanoprobes you want.

I'd love to bid the cube and run around assimilating airlines. Imagine the glorious internet haterade, "tier" and cake jokes that would be unleashed!

"They don't respect my experience! If I wore a bra, they'd hi…"

These things were sitting parked at GYR a number of years back. How long will Delta be planning om keeping them? Or will they be joining the large Delta party here at MZJ?

LOLZ, at least there IS a sign....

Back during the Blue/Red merger, they just dumped a bunch of us at the Southernjets training center with no maps or diagrams or anything, and there are 3 different buildings. Sure, there were little itty bitty signs...but just getting to that point was Adventure Time. People wandered around that place looking for hours....oh, yea, and you needed a nuclear code decoder ring to get to the briefing rooms.

COMPLETELY unlike NATCO, which was user friendly. During the time we had both, the MSP training center went senior...for some reason...even in winter.

Delta training some -88 stuff in LAS, from what Ive seen. Im guessing ATL is backed up for training?

Yup ATL is getting backed up. When I went through a couple months ago everyone was sent there for a week or so. Now a lot of guys are going to LAS for all the full motion stuff... Lots of training on the ole 88 lately.

I figure they have a sole lease on the -88 sim, as i dont think there any other users using it at LAS. I found it interesting that the MD-82 sim was still being used.
