Thought that only orals or flight checkrides constituted a "failed stage check or checkride" so the written deal threw me off

Awesome thread. Can someone please guide to where I can find information stating that Part 141 check-ride failures do not count on your record?

I should have failed IR flight test (flew like sheet that day) but I think the DE was too afraid to fly with me again !!

I couldn't tell you if I ever busted a 141 stage check. You guys actually remember that stuff???!!
