WN Hiring (Mar '23)

Can anyone shed light on the hiring process..
So after application comes the
WebEx skill assessment
So what steps will follow if every thing goes well?
After the WebEx skill assessment with a passing score of 70. However the better your score, the better the possibility of getting invited to the In Person Oral interview...
A couple of colleagues did not get invited in the last posting even though they got in the High 80s

Thank you for the info, so is there no written test on site?
If they don’t use cameras you can easily cheat

It will be pretty obvious during the interview if you know your stuff. After the initial test, it’s a short call with an HR recruiter followed by 2 MS Teams interviews with the folks in the dispatch department (that’s how it was last posting). Not sure if they are back to doing on-site interviews yet.

Thank you very much…
I been dispatching for over 5 years at a major just trying to fresh up on the technical stuff…
Any pointers on besides WX and Regs what they usually hit you with?

I am a private pilot with a dispatch certificate that has also been invited to take the dispatch exam. Do I realisticaly have a chance of getting hired without part 121 experience from a regional, just with the knowledge that I have flying general aviation and dispatch school?

Basic W/B, be able to read a pirep, specifically a radial and distance from a VOR, RNP stuff, magnetic variation. that sorts of stuff. It's not an easy test necessarily but with your experience you shouldn't have much issue.

How do they ensure you are not using reference material during the webex portion of the interview?
They can tell if you click off the screen, copy/paste stuff like that. The rest is just trust. Can't really prevent people from using a separate laptop or using book reference material. It is timed so they people that finish quickly KNOW the material and likely didn't cheat

It's up yall! Good luck! May the spatch gods be in your favor.

2023 WN is looking for 2 classes. This first class will be the largest and the second class may be a reduced capacity.
How many in total and do you know when the start dates are projected to start?

The suspense will kill me. Especially when they say it can take up to 10 days. I'm glad that they are being proactive though. A late July start date is plenty of time to plan should someone continue through the process.
