WN career fair 9/24

The information that I have been given makes this sound like an invite only "career fair". I think they will send out an RSVP possibly in the coming weeks. I may be wrong, but I will have more info next week I think.

That's been my experience with them as well. The recruiter still smiled, nodded and asked some questions, but at the end it was painfully obvious I didn't have a chance. He said "uh-huh, well it all looks good. Come back and talk to us when you have that 1000!" Next!

If they do end up dropping the mins down to 500TPIC then I'll come back for round 2, but for now I'll sit this one out and let those that meet the current minimums have their shot, as there's only 300 spots available.

This is actually helpful.

I can't tell you how many guys my friend spoke to at the OBAP career didn't meet something like the four year degree requirement and they weren't able to waive that requirement. But instead of a little motivation to get it completed, a few applicants wanted to literally argue about the efficacy of having that requirement.

Not the time or the place.

Seeing more people without a 4 year and less people with one might just be an indicator of something.

Yup, get ready for MCPL and European-style ab initio programs. Jetblue (JetBlue? jetBlue?) is more than an experiment.

The 1500 hour rule set up to cause some scarcity of skill in order to bring up pay and benefits, but then we collectively discovered Pokémon Go and didn't finish the job.

JetBlue (Airlines). ;)

Lower-case "j" is only meant to be used on graphics.

According to their corporate info, they are an "Airways".

Interestingly, when I was at ViB, the HR person looked at my resume (where it said "Airways"), chuckled and pointed it out, and said, "not a lot of people get that right..."

I can attest to them not getting it right. I was being tongue in cheek by getting that incorrect.

Also, FWIW no space between "Jet" and "Blue" exists though some people want it to.

And yet there are still those out there with more than the qualifiers expressed in the comment you responded to...

But, they lack a cool callsign. Or haven't found a way to get their app scored again after getting a "fix it" e-mail.

Not that anyone is giving up...but the frustration to solving the Rubik cube only grows greater every day.

Stop it. I've previously acknowledge how busy you are. Don't rub it in. However, since you did, thanks for being gentle.
