THe calculus changes when support staff and HQ people cant get to work due to ice. NE airports still not open to full capacity. With that said, its a meltdown (freeze up?) of epic proportions. Luckily it isnt during a holiday.

I now ask this question as a consumer and customer. I now have a choice in carriers.

It all goes back to the old "We know why you fly..." marketing campaign:
"We know why you fly. We just don't know why you fly us!"

Yup. My turn today is missing two FAs. Same story as the last 3 days. They wait until the last minute to cancel it. I think tracking is overwhelmed.

9+ hour hold times to get ahold of tracking. FAs are just self releasing and finding their own accommodations at this point. The wheels have fallen off and crews are OOP and tracking has lost them. There were scheduling/IOC folks who were let go as part of the “restructuring” in November
