Saturdays have always been tough, Fridays make it next to impossible....The last few years I have gone out on Saturday after our football events (playoffs) but being on Friday Id ahve to fly out Friday in teh afternoon, and then leave on the redeye that same night back ti minny by the morning......Its a bit hard to jsutify spending a bunch of money for a few hours in vegas,,,,,,,,,

I booked my hotel for Thursday to Sunday in the Penthouse Suite at the Travellodge down the street from the Cosmo.

@Gonzo where you staying? @Derg - Are you guys planning a get together Thursday night?

He was even offered donated frequent flier miles from another JC member to fly out for the night!

TonyW you're a single man. It would be EASY for a single man with now kids. I gots a wifey, two kids playing football, one ending the season that day and a high schooler who will have section playoffs that day to get to the state tournament.

I never said it was a dumb thing at all....But that said.......who knows...

What is this....? Bust Jims' nuts night....? I have not declined that offer......I just need to figure out if I fly out for a few hours and catch the redeye home or if the games are later in the day or evening, and I can stay a little longer.....I will need a place to •, shower, and shave but thats about it......

Yes it was!:) Hey Derg, has busted my nuts many times for missing NJC's in the past! Just "Paying it Forward" ;) If you end up making it, that would be awesome! I know you've got a busy schedule and if you can't, you can't. If you can't we'll just have to grab a beer or two on the next business trip I make up to MSP.

The offer is still there, just let me know! I'll be getting all those miles back on my Manila adventure the following month anyway :) 14.5 hour flight from ORD to PVG? Who the heck planned that route? My iPad will die halfway......
