We took an RV-8A to 10,000 feet over the Blue Ridge mountians. We had oxygen,hot prop and 250hp. We could have kept on going, we stopped 10k.

Nice seeing the arrivals into IAD (Dulles) at that flight level.

Those DA20's will climb like a home sick angel if the conditions are right. Although, I've never took one that high before. What's the fpm when you get above 13k?

It would do about 200-300 FPM at Vy. Level at 14000 it would indicate just shy of 100 KIAS.
