Something with the construction field is always a possibility. I've worked in the field as a glorified laborer for the past 9 months (the only one on the job site with a college degree mind you). I was lucky because I had a family friend that employed me. The hourly wage is usually around 9 or 10 dollars an hour. One time I got payed 20 bucks an hour to work for these guys from out of town that were doing an indoor putting green for this super rich guy. My boss also owns a bunch of rental properties in a "proliteriate" part of town. He made some decent money but they were kind of a hastle to deal with.
