What is a scab in the airline pilot world?

Oh man, that's not even the worst I've seen. But you'll have to wait for the book when I turn 60!

Sometimes I think I'd like to have done my job 40 or 50 years ago. Crews took some abuse from pax even then, but nothing like what we put up with these days. But then again, we had to retire at 35 or when we got married. One thing is for sure, whatever glamour there once was in my job is LONG gone. I read about the cases of air rage, and hear all the stories from my husband about problem pax, and it almost makes me glad I'm furloughed and I don't have to put up with all the cr@p anymore!

If you want to see a lot of those disgusting attitudes, there are plenty of sites that cater to spoiled crybaby frequent fliers who think that putting their butt in a seat for x thousand miles means that they're the important.

It's unbelievable. The thing is, if that woman posted her story on that board, they'd be saying, how dare that pilot not let a vaulable customer cut in front of him.
