I wear a surgeon's mask when I'm on the road. People look at me kind of funny when I'm in the terminal.
I drink plenty of water and take a multivitamin. Also, I've been rinsing my nose out w/ saline solution for contacts. Seems to work really well, since I haven't been sick in ages!![]()
Duuude, there was an Oprah show about that! Dr. Oz was showing everyone how to use a neti pot to clear the sinus cavity.
....not that I watch Oprah on a regular basis or anything.![]()
I lick the yoke each time I get in a new airplane. Keeps my immune system on its toes.
Zicam is also good, but be careful. People have lost their sense of smell using the spray version. Try the chewables.
Nothing to do except build your immune system. Studies have shown that kids that played in dirt, etc had amazing immune systems and were sick far less then kids whose mothers were always disinfecting everything. Why? Because they were constantly exposed to a little of this and a little of that and were able to build up the immune system slowly.
Dont stick your fingers in your nose. Dont stick your fingers in your ears either. Research in the 1940's by the Germans found that at the first sign of a cold if you put 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide in each ear, the cold/flu was killed and you never got sick. Turns out bacteria and germs can enter the body through the ears.

Don't use the cotton swab Q-tip thingies. It comes in pill form, too. Didn't think it'd been on the market long enough to determine that yet....
