I didn't think it was so bad... I had a burger. You can't screw up a burger. I thought it was fine but I wouldn't order a filet mignon there. Good food is hard to find here.
 
Culvar's is pretty decent if you want fast food. Closest you can get to Red Robin here I'd say. :drool:

Culver's is REALLY good. Watch out for your arteries, however. Meh, you only live once! I think I'll go eat there today. :D

Juxtapilot: Yes, you can mess up a burger. Have one of mine and you won't be happy. :p :buck: I can't make burgers worth a damn. That would probably have to do w/ my lack of grill. :D
 
There's nothing wrong with eating at Applebee's. They have good food and everything. I do agree however, that it is not a fancy place. If you can walk in wearing jeans and t-shirt and not feel underdressed, it's not fancy. That is my general rule.

I'm not dissing the 'Bee's, just saying that people around here give it too much credit. Heck, I went to high school with the former CEO's sons (triplets) and they don't really like the place.

As for fast food, Culver's is good. The Pita Pit on S. Washington is pretty good and has a little less cholesterol.

lol, I actually saw people having a wedding or wedding reception at the Applebee's down by the river this summer

LOL, they weren't having the wedding at Applebee's...there is a pretty nice place on top of Applebee's (I think it is called "A Touch of Magic"?) That does receptions and stuff like that.
