Visiting

One more question, what should I wear? I'm meeting with an enrollment rep if that helps.

I guess I know I should dress warm, but should I wear button down shirt/slacks, jeans/polo?

If you want to wear the full suit and everything go ahead and do it, but everyone else is going to wear what they wear all the time. North Dakota has a lot of sweat pants wearing people here.:D

Just wear what you would be comfortable in.

Yeah, the person giving you the tour won't look all the great anyway. I think they usually wear a UND Aerospace polo and jeans. It's not really an interview or anything. Not specific to the tour or anything like it for that matter, but I always like to wear a button up shirt when visiting places. (then again, that's how I feel most comfortable)

Pita Pits are pretty good, we have one here in Moscow:)

Oh, if you have a Taco Time there, on Saturdays you can get nachos for cheap:D

I don't think we have any Taco Time's (I could be wrong), but we do have this shady looking place called BURGER TIME! Anybody been there?

The one that has "BURGERS FRIES POP" plastered all over the front? I went there once and ordered a whole bunch of food at the drive through window, rolled up to to the window to pay, handed my credit card, and was told they only accept cows, cheese, or grains for trade, I mean cash. I ended up driving off. Oops, I guess they just lost another sale to not being up with the times.

Anyway, when I eventually went there prepared with the appropriate form of payment, the burgers were CHEAP, but not the best. Typical greasy food. The french fries were actually pretty good though.

I'm sure if I had my checkbook with me they would've accepted it - sorry to go off to different tangents, but you will notice that in North Dakota, everyone pays for EVERYTHING with a check. 89 cent Burrito at Taco Bell? Whip out that check book! Waiting in line behind a slow old lady at the register? She's probably taking her sweet time by carefully balancing her checkbook before she carefully detaches the perforated check to hand to the cashier.

Haha, oh burger time. I went there once after a game of golf and I thought it was pretty good. Most likely because I was starving and my dumbass didn't bring a hat or put on sunscreen, so I was charred, similar to the burger.

About an hour after eating that stuff, you can imagine what almost happened. I decided not to go there again.
