Well he said when Midway "tanked" - Midway left MDW and went to RDU, there was no "tanking" at that point (although it was a near thing.)

The "tanking" happened last year.

without getting into too much detail as of right now, Skywest airlines CEO Jerry Atkin has voiced much interest in buying some of UsAir's slots in some cities and opening up a LCC. He has many ideas though and I doubt this one is in blueprints yet! But you never know.
