TSA Recalls!!!!!!!

although smokey said another forum, you'll find the trip7 quote in this very thread, so its a valid place to complain about it.

I skim. I coment on what he said, I don't have time to go back through the thread to find extenuating circumstances.

And honestly, going with the "doug's livingroom" analogy, if someone walks in an starts pissing on the carpet and another guy starts calling him out for doing it, who should you really be complaining about?

When I walk into the living room and someone is acting up, that's who gets my attention. This isn't about who is right and who is wrong, it's about acceptable behavior and I try ti nip unacceptable behavior in the bud when I run across it. Once again, I don't have the time, nor the inclination, to scroll back through threads to see who did what to whom. Let me refer you to the rules:

11. Our moderators are not "referees". We're here to keep Jetcareers a friendly, informative and fun environment, not to ensure "overly vigorous" debates are fought out evenly. If a thread or user has gotten out of hand, report it to the moderation team using the 'report post' feature (). If your response to the user is in clear violation of the the rules of this website, you may receive a warning or infraction -- even though you feel "the other guy started it first". This is very important and helps maintain a healthy environment here at Jetcareers.com.

I'm not a referee. Sometimes it isn't the guy that started it that catches grief.

Trip7 cant keep his rumors straight, 2 weeks ago he was posting ASA had this flying and it was a done deal...

Seeing as how I personally don't give a hoot about regional airline rumors I guess I'm not very good at keeping score and remembering who is a reliable source (ha!) and who isn't. < shrug >

Please enlighten us all on the terms of this cpa.Bases, number of frames and contract length and who got the contract. Oh, and by the way. From another forum, you claimed xjt was doing this flying at a loss. Please post the terms of the cpa. You also stated that xjt is paying the leases on the aircraft in the desert. Wrong. You also stated that xjt has 50 seaters in the desert collecting dust. Wrong again. So unless you can back up your satements with factual information please stop spewing this mindless BS on every forum on the internet.

Oh yeah, skywest inc. is the greatest company on earth.Period

Never said it was a done deal, only that XJT is the frontrunner so terms of cpa have no clue. My source about XJT bidding at a loss is from someone at an airline who is bidding against them. That's as far as I'll go with that info. Sitting in the desert/Sitting on the ramp/occasionally flying charter however you want to specifically call it doesn't really matter. XJET has aircraft that are doing little to nothing and apparently your management is actively trying to find work for it.

Posting rumots is not pissing on the carpet around here. Doug posted a Delta rumot a couple days ago.

Also, the ASA rumor I posted came true, or at least most of it:D

Just as a slight aside, remember that Doug can piss on his own carpet all he likes. :D

Brothers friend who knows a check airman who knows a janitor who knows an intern whom overheard something interesting...

Sorry to our TSA brothers/sisters who got their hopes up. Hang in there.

Exactly my point. Friend of a friend of...

Awac was apparently next in line to TSA. They said no. Interesting.......

Looks like United is really scraping the bottom with this one. It's probably going to be an airline that really needs this one BAD!! Like MESA LOL.

Yeah, I'm not sure if AWAC was really next in line or not. I understand where you're coming up with that but AWAC might have turned down the concessions and been out of the running for the UAL stuff before TSA was out of the running. At this point, I don't think anybody knows for sure what happened with the flying and I almost don't care anymore...I'm going to Vegas to forget the past week or two.

Well I guess 'fact' may have been a strong word but the person responsible for TSA's negotiating with United about all of this told me personally. He could be lying or wrong, but it's not a friend of a friend thing. So I take back the word fact, but.... express jet got the flying. Congrats to them getting some guys and girls back to work.

Sounds like a reliable source to me! Curious how many planes they will be awarded.

Keyword I used was frontrunner. Its down to 2 finalists I hear. We all know who the 2 companies are.

Yeah, TSA and XJT. XJT because they got it, and TSA by reading that memo posted previously. You'll have to come to grips with reality at some point: Skywest/ASA ain't always gonna be in the top two.
