Or not even throw the van driver at least a buck for slinging the bags. It’s embarrassing. Luckily, most captains don’t do this.I don’t get it though. Most of these guys are lineholders. I’ll watch them spend $15 on a sandwich and a coke then say they can’t afford $20/month. That’s just being unrealistic.
Yep and the guys I fly with aren’t broke regional FOs either. Granted they’re taking somewhat of a pay cut the first year but if you can’t get by on 75-90k then you’re doing something wrong.
I can’t stand when people don’t tip the van driver. This dude maybe makes 20k and you can’t give him a damn dollar? When someone does that with me i always open my wallet back up and give the driver extra and make sure the cheap ass sees me do it.
On that note i always tip regular hotel van drivers $2 and the private transportation guys at least $3 and most of the time $5.
