Top 10 Things YOU can do at NetworkJC in October

Yo, I'm in class with G_Dawg and who knows, maybe we won't have Sim that weekend and we will be able to join you fools. I'll keep ya posted. I have some catching up to do. I haven't been to JC Network (at least when everyone else is there) in three years.

Moving up to the jet huh...:)

I SOOOOO wish I could join you, but I've got to make an appearance at the SWA Halloween bash on Friday night :( (apparently it's not to be missed).

Everyone I've talked to has had nothing but GREAT things to say about NetworkJC, so to those of you who are on the fence and CAN make it... GO!

and we did receive your payment! Thanks to all those that have paid up!!! your attendance is confirmed. :)

Aww come on, dude...you're a college student. Tell your folks it's related to progressing in your future career and see if they'll pick up the tab.:)

No doubt. You WILL meet people that can help you in your career. 100% guaranteed.

Personally, if I was a person interested in pursuing a career in professional aviation, I'd be a fool if I didn't go.

Where else can you share a beer or pepsi with everyone from student pilots, to CFI's, to regional and global airline pilots, to recruiters in a social, low-threat environment? We even have some guests from China flying in!

$20 and an airline ticket for NetworkJC or hundreds of dollars, a "stiff" environment and a suit and tie for the Kit Darby thingy.

Your choice, stuckingfk! :)

Moving up to the jet huh...:)

I think of it more as a lateral move :insane:

I will say this though, if you can fly the Brasilia the jet is easy! This plane makes everything that goes on available to you on your MFD and PFD's. In the Bro you have to know the systems and interpret the problem from the MAP and the affected system while managing two 1800shp props spinning away. DOH

Thanks Tony. I guess I'll volunteer for being a DW (designated walker) all weekend.

No really, anybody planning on doing anyhing Thursday afternoon before the drinking (really) gets started? Late afternoon lunch/dinner sort of thing?

Did the lunch with Don ever materialize?

Also, I know Matt was looking into a halloween sort of thing. Anything come of that?

I meant specifics people. Jeesh:insane:

I'm up (or down) for doing a lunch dinner thing on thursday! I get in at like 10am so after a quick nap, i'll be ready to roll.

Tony, there will be no hangover recovery until Sunday on the flight home. Drink through the pain, and there won't be a hangover until then.

I wonder why pilots have such a bad reputation as alcoholics.
