The Waco TFR

Yeah but a TFR is just that, temporary. They put that big white ring on there because of how common the TFR was, and how often it was violated. Lets' face it, Bush took alot of vacation!

One thing you should do before any flight, particularly cross countries, is check for TFRs, as they pop up everywhere and violating them can cost you your ticket. It is simple too...http://tfr.faa.gov/tfr2/list.html

I check before every flight that takes me away from my home airport (KTKI) Im not losing my ticket cause I was too lazy to check NOTAM's

Last time I was there I asked the controller about it. He said that they were still protecting P-49 (the small 6 mile/5000 ring), but the 30 mile TFR wasn't going to be in place anymore.
