The Streak is Over: ASA offers Voluntary Furloughs

Yeah I know. But the first ticket is when we start training for them, then you really know we have them.

There is no 900 training other than a handout that you read. The 700 and 900 are essentially the same airplane.

As far as 200 to 700/900 differences training it just 3 days of groundschool(covering a 1.5 days of material:banghead:), then 2 sims and a non jeopardy differences check.

Shoot, I wouldn't even say THAT. I'm almost positive that we had guys IN TRAINING for these aircraft when Delta pulled the plug on the 10 of the 15. But I hope that it means that you guys don't have to furlough.

First, I looked at Open Time this month and found nothing. Next thing you know the Chief Pilot called me and formally let me know that they are letting me go. When will I come back? No one knows yet. But I can join the ranks of FURLOUGHED pilots, first time at ASA.
