the official "waiting for FOL from MEM PEPC" thread

I talked to the medical people today and they said my Medicals had all cleared so I guess I am just waiting on my conditional clearance with the security people. Crossing my fingers to hear something good in the morning
 
So has anyone else had at least one dream lately where someone from the FAA calls them and gives them a date for OKC?

It has happend to me 3 times now. I have to think some what hard in the morning if I have already received a date or not. :laff:
 
I received a certificate in the mail that I'm supposed to sign saying that I passed my Class 2 Medical Exam and am now cleared to fly... not that I have my pilots license. I'm assuming we get these for our records, and it is part of the FOL process. Anybody else get one?

I also got the "prior military experience" email last week. I'd think they know the answer to this question by now. Wonder what this means for FOL's.

Nope at the PEPC they told me it would be a no certificate issued medical
 
I got my date!!! Called my HR Rep this afternoon and she said she was issuing class dates! Said some other Seattle guys are in 10/10 and put me in it! She said to expect my FOL by email tomorrow, I can't wait!! :rawk: Super stoked. Good luck to everyone else, thanks for your support!

Sounds great. I got a similar call about two weeks ago and still have no FOL. What's the deal? Just type me a one liner: "You're hired." That's all I need.

I asked when Oct. 2nd people should expect email packets and what not, she said expect them in the next few days.
 
Terminal peeps,

I've e-mailed my HR Rep (CS) just now for info as to when we will be assigned OKC dates or what likely month will we get OKC dates for. I'm doubtful for a response though.

I'm sure no one else is counting :sarcasm:, but it has been exactly 7 weeks since I was at MEM PEPC. I believe their original estimate was 4-6 weeks for an OKC date, but one thing the govt does exceed in is their estimates.:D

Thanks for the info Shyu. I hope that means this week. Tomorrow is Friday. If I don't have it by next Thursday then I will have to give a two-week notice based solely on a TOL. I would prefer not to do that.
 
Ya i agree, she just emailed me too saying, "work on them, should go out in the next day or so"

So I am really really really really really really excited now! lol
And I hope no one calls her, she sounds swamped.

CS did e-mail me back yesterday at 1640hr ET..."I don't have any class dates yet, I will contact you as soon as I know something."

I was wondering when terminal people were going to be put in Sept 25 and 26 classes I mean there are 5 of them, but until today I haven't heard anyone get put in them. Congrats to those getting FOL! Hopefully the rest of us will hear something. 5 classes is a lot to fill (and in not much time).
