I don’t think tail strikes really are much of a player. There’s Boeing :gasp: products that have much closer margins for striking the tail.

The L10 was truly an amazing airplane. So far ahead of its time, it's not even funny.

Personally, the MD-11 and the MD-10-30 (DC-10-30) are the best flying airplanes I've ever flown in my life! Gonna miss the MD when she's gone and I consider myself lucky to have flown her.
