The Future of JC

As long as we agree that St. Louis style pizza absolutely sucks. I've tasted bile after a night of drunken debauchery and morning puking that taste better than provel-cheese St. Louis style pizza.
Best thing I ever heard about STL style pizza, “NY and Chicago style pizza can be found anywhere. STL pizza is only found in STL because nobody outside of there wants to eat that crap!” LOL!

There's a couple great Detroit pizza places in Vancouver. Let me know if you get a layover with enough time for pizza.
I know one of them is that brewery I haven’t tried, what’s the other one? Every time I get that layover you’re on a trip, sadly.

Detroit Pizza Camas is the newest one. But Crust Collective is the best I have found.
I know it’s a chain but that Ranch place wasn’t terrible, but not amazing either. Semi related, my captain kept talking up Grassa a few weeks ago and I was like “OH, that’s the place in the airport I was telling you about.”

Is that Stack 571?

I thought I’d share this. Other forums do the paid access to the premium sections of the forum. Although is the Lav considered premium? You dang right it is!!

For the record, I’d pay.

I loved this place 2008-2016. NJC 2010 and 2012 were awesome. Way more informative than APC and the community was really supportive, and the educational discussions were great. Now I occasionally lurk here if there’s an event I want to get this group’s take on and spend most of my forum time lurking on APC.
JetCareers seemed to become more of a social/political echo chamber, you were either in the accepted “cool kids” club or it was made clear you had no place here. Nothing was ever directed at me since I’ve always been mostly a lurker with occasional participation but the vibe welcoming everyone to talk about airplanes and aviation died.

I mean, it's possible to like more than one style of pizza you know...

Chicago: Tavern style
New York: Massive slices you fold over
Intoxicated: Domino's
Anything else: Who cares
agreed ...I would say Tavern style was just the Midwest thin crust trying to emulate NY style due to its popularity...since it was a few years before Deep dish was invented 1946 at Uno's...(which the head pizza chef was Rudy Malnati and credited with the recipe, which his sons then started Lou Malnotis which is my favorite..)

Ultimately you can't go wrong with the big 4: Lou Malnati's (gold standard in my mind), Giordano's, Uno's, Gino's East

...there are a ton of family owned places that aren't chains but I would recommend Pequods and Bartoli's

No hate towards Detroit style, NY thin crust...love em all...just different pizzas designed for psychopaths and chronic masturbators...
