Doug's already decided that whenever we have this thing again - he will work his entire month schedule around the weekend - so in that sense, doug and I will officially be there to support and mingle with the JC members

[/ QUOTE ]Hahahaha....sounds like you're talking about an addiction support group....oh wait, you are!

There's probably a certain, hmm, "dynamic" that probably could not be reproduced in SLC

[/ QUOTE ] Hahaha....no, but Park City is a good substitute and doesn't suck your soul out of you like Vegas does.

Michelle, I'll be in SLC for Christmas; Ophir and I have already talked about meeting up then--and as I'm sure many discovered about Eagle in Vegas, my bark is worse than my bite.

And Everett, all I gotta say is pay attention, dude; the Vegas thread and updates have been the very first thread in the General forum for months.

Man, I feel like I really missed out! I splurged on a tailwheel endorsement in New Mexico about 3 weeks ago, and am trying to race my way to 250 hours, so I just couldn't spend the money this year. I'd REALLY like to make it next year, sounds like an absolute blast. I have no suggestions as to location, as long as you keep it in a SWA city so I can get there for free!

If you are planning on hitting LAS again, I'm more than there. I have never been there and I'm looking for any excuse to get out there. I would have gone this year, but I'm too tied up with my senior year in college.

I'm sorely disappointed I couldn't come. I will, however, make it a point to attend JC Crawl '04!!

By the way... I'm in a campus computer lab and the kid next to me looks and smells like he hasn't seen a shower in a few years. Oew!!!

I can't say how much fun this was. What a great bunch of people. You know, if what they say is true and that people hire folks who they want to do four day trips with, I can say that everyone who I met is getting a job.

Next time I'm getting out there early on the Friday of the bash so that I can be all caught up with everyone and not have to play catch up!

Uh, yeah. What she said.

Or at least somewhere that SWA has an over the counter agreement with another airline. I think Orlando would be pretty cool (other than the fact that I live here), and there are other things to do than the theme parks. Not many other things, but they do exist.

Ah but aren't you worried about Mormon cooties?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think it is contagious.

My religion doesn’t have a temple (unless you count the Wasatch). It comes in the form of powder and lots of it! Check out Snowbird this morning, 36” at mid-mountain and 10-18 forecast for today!!! Oh, and then there is tomorrow, another 2-8” forecast! Man, get me away from these books. A weekend of debauchery has left me with no free time.

A quick aside: My vote is for 04’ is LAS. Tony and I were talking about this. Where ever we go we will have to deal with underage people not being able to go into bars. In LAS at least there are other things to do and more than likely, if you aren’t going into a club, they can hang out with you anyway. We weren’t carded or in anyplace that under 21’s couldn’t have been all weekend. Plus, the airfares are so cheap to Sin City, from all over the states.

Oh, and Gay_Pilot, if you are star stuck by FlyChicaga, you are going to have to take a number dude. He is the king of late night and the right seat! FlyChicaga=Rock Star

Did you get the hail we got this morning Ophir? Around 7 am I think, it sounded like tennis balls were dropping on our house.

Oh no you were mistaken. That was frozen chemgoo. Didn't have a chance to thaw.

Ahh but St. Louis is about as fun as ... well, St. Louis!

Although, there are plenty of Riverboat Casinos clogging up the various rivers in the area. Oh and the Arch. Oh and it's the home of Budweiser - the brewery tour is cool.

I'm from St. Louis area -- I can make fun of it because it's home. Any of you punks do it and it's on.
grin.gif

And BTW I really did want to make Vegas but, well, SWA sucks b@lls.

Hopefully Eagle will organize a little East Coast Gettogether sometime. In the meantime, any of you flying in to Charleston let me know.

No doubt.

Vegas 2004 might be a Chicaga-induced cat fight between "39" year olds, substance-abusing bar goers and Everett!
smile.gif

Definetely LAS I think. Maybe I could get off my lazy arse and organize some day stuff for the under 21 year olds, and then at night, it's 21-and up "adult swim", ya know?

I've been to St. Louis a few times. Once during Mardi Gras. You can make it fun, trust me. It just takes a little effort! When the bars close, just head across the river... the clubs stay open until 6 AM. And they serve KILLER BBQ in the parking lot of this strip club over there during closing time.
