And the 787 guys will be making 16 hours per day flying to some far flung part of the globe.

The supersonic commercial airliner is a canard for pushing legislation that permits supersonic flight over land. That opens the market for what they really think will work: supersonic jets for the people that are already burning a gallon of fuel per 10 seat-miles.
