Something about sweaters. @Boris Badenov might know.
That doesn’t surprise usI do exactly that during my twelve to sixteen hour shifts.
OF is allowed so long as you're not in uniform right?Partaking in my go-to option is frowned upon on airplanes, unfortunately.
Or since Radio Disney died.AM radio just hasn’t been the same since George Norry died

i post them on community forums - but i think usage is pretty limited, most people would rather watch a 5 minute youtube (i guess im dating myself using the term youtube / tiktok is what the cooler kids use now) videos rather than something archaic as a map or textual instructions that you can read in about a minute on how to get to a particular location on the map. What do you do with those maps? Personal consumption or distribute them within the fan base of that game?
An old co-worker of mine is a hardcore geocacher, so they’d go hunting on overnights.

I teach part-time at a college, so a lot of my "free time" is spent reading up on the next lesson and building PowerPoints, creating tests/quizzes, grading quizzes, etc... it honestly was more work than I ever expected, but I enjoy creating something from scratch that's helping others.
I'll get roasted for this one since the hobby involves airplanes and computer games, but I recently built a gaming PC. Took me a long time to research everything and learn how to do it. I got DCS and now play with a group of guys flying the F-14. I grew up on this airplane, so reading stuff about it, learning all the systems, etc. etc., is actually a blast. With time to kill in the office I'll spend an hour or two reading manuals how to work the AWG-9 or do intercepts or whatever, then I'll jump on after the kids are in bed and do a 1.5-2 hour mission working on what I learned in the books. It's particularly fun when we get 6-8 guys together and have a human RIO in each plane, coordinating a mission, roasting each other on our carrier traps, and just generally BSing on the intercoms. I don't like mindless boredom of watching TV, so spending time learning something that was such a big part of my childhood is pretty fun.
What are you teaching PT in college? LE or aviation?
