Here is a litmus test to see how good a pilot you are:
(note it only works wien talking with other pilots)
How many follow up questions do you get when you're asked what you fly?
If it more than 3 you have an interesting job, and as such you are a good pilot.
If its more than 5 you are in your way to badassery.
You are right, it is easier for me to say because I'm not facing the street in the same manner that the Comair bubba's are.
However it doesn't change the fact that it is true.
So, why shouldn't the bottom feeder airlines with the worst contracts fall on their swords instead of the better places like Comair?
While we try to improve on QOL/contracts/etc. Remember this boys and girls, you are just a number to management. Doesn't matter if you are at Podunk Air to the all mighty widget tail. Management is and will always be about the bottom dollar. If X(pilots) are costing us too much then subtract X to a number that saves $$$$.
Holy crap, I agree with ATN. I'm calling in sick.Easy to say when you're not the one falling.
It's much more childish to go out of your way to "make fun" of someone. There's actually quite a bit of (hidden) jealously involved in there as well IMO.Yup! It is an RJ. Its more childish to think that because the engines are under the wings and it's comfortable that it isn't and RJ.
Poor Comair dudes. I guess the aviation gods determined they hadnt paid enough dues. Maybe they can pay more dues at the bottom of somebodies seniority list. I would be burning my pilot certificates, no doubt.

For realz...they should like go on strike or something. Is it considered "grown up" for an E190 FO to top out at $36.62?
Anyone heard who will take up the 70-76 seat lift?
This is what I was thinking too...Am I missing something or wouldn't it be stupid on Deltas part to give the 700/900's to jet if they could just do swaps with them to take 200's out of the system?
I did a double take.$36.62...
Really? Ouch. A lot of topped out FOs. Brutal.
