If you think HOA's are bad, trying living in military housing. And I do not mean barracks. I mean family housing. Although I must say, I made a killing as a kid cutting grass before yard inspection every week.
Some people are just • control freaks.

Anec-data, to be sure, but I live in the same neighborhood as some DC Housing Projects (read: some of the poorest citizens in the city) and have seen some really lovely landscaping and flower beds in the neighborhood. People can take pride in their places despite the income.
I know you weren't making that assertion. Had I not seen direct evidence to the contrary, I would have probably held the same opinion based on prior experience.

Maybe the guy who had his airplane disassembled needs one of these cars. Change the N-number to end with FU, of course.
