Nope, she was entertaining as a standup but her persona doesn't have a long shelf life.Am I the only person in America who just does NOT care for Amy Schumer?
I giggled. It's absurdity in the form of skit comedy. Even the best SNL skits are pretty thin on content. Everyone loved "cowbell" with Walken, but really, was there anything particularly sophisticated or nuanced there? Even the Wayne's World skits were incredibly low brow. But that's why people watch SNL: it's mindless escapism.
My absolute favorite SNL bit. Colonel Angus.
I was watching... um... Jiggles?Did no one else catch her close the door, but she moves the door level to OPEN?
After the Phil Hartman era, I quit watching. Miss that guy.SNL should've died a death a long time ago, like in the early 1980s.
I almost made it to the 2 minute mark. I think that was a respectable effort.
