Nope, she was entertaining as a standup but her persona doesn't have a long shelf life.

Even her stand-up isn't all great. Some of the early stuff was pretty good, and she does well at the roasts, but her specials haven't done anything for me. I suppose I just don't find much funny about yeast infections and the like.

I giggled. It's absurdity in the form of skit comedy. Even the best SNL skits are pretty thin on content. Everyone loved "cowbell" with Walken, but really, was there anything particularly sophisticated or nuanced there? Even the Wayne's World skits were incredibly low brow. But that's why people watch SNL: it's mindless escapism.
