I know of a crash pad that my friend stayed in for a couple of months by river rd. Or something like that. Is that the one?I do. Pseudo crashpad right next to ORD.
For sure, hopefully we can get something organized next month like everyone is trying. Got a composite line so I have to wait another few days to see what they do to me.
1st year pay just went to $36.50 if anyone interested.

Here's my story...
Hired in Aug. 2015 into 175. 1st 121 employment, but pretty varied background before that. Classed in Sept. Awarded ORD. Went to sims in Paris, France. Was as awesome as it sounds. Had 8 weeks off between sims and IOE. Was as awesome as it sounds. Started IOE in January. Finished IOE in Feb after finagleing an extra trip or 2 of IOE. Why? Because reserve sucks, that's why. Will have my 100 in 120 after this 3 day that I will be finishing. Received my March sked today. It is ALL reserve.
So... I am ORD based with a standing bid in to go ANYWHERE except Chicago and commute to reserve. That... Is my biggest gripe. And it's self induced. The company rocks. The people are great. The instructors are on par with the best instructors that I had in the military and they want you to succeed.I'll spend a year here before moving on, but I am well prepared to spend a career here if I had to.
Should have chosen the CRJ side, if it was available. I hear you could get a line in training or pretty quickly.
Why? My type rating is a 170/190 type rating. Funny how, as someone on the outside looking in with no research done you've got input into what I should have done. That's the internet for you...

Not trying to come across as a Summer's Eve, and it's entirely possible I'm reading your post wrong, but are you complaining about being reserve not even a month after finishing IOE?Received my March sked today. It is ALL reserve.

You read it wrong. Completely missed it. Just the nature of the biz.
First: Welcome to SKW!!! Were you offered the choice of CRJ/175 when you excepted the position? Did you already have 175/190 type? Interested if they were doing that when you were hired. CRJ is getting off reserve quicker then the 175, as its a number game. More planes. I'm a 3/15 hire and never sat reserves on CRJ. 8). ORD based, but what I wanted (live in OH). And after first year you can make more flying the -900 then the 175.GX said:Why? My type rating is a 170/190 type rating. What, in your opinion, is the significance of the ERJ type vs a CRJ type as you state it here?
Is it a type you all ready had, and hence wanted to select ERJ because you believed you'd have an easier time in training?
Or, do you believe that the 170/190 type is more valuable/marketable from a professional standpoint?
I ask, because the way you post it, it comes off like a massive case of SJS.
