Why not also make a post in announcements? Maybe more will see it there.I'll probably get flamed by people here because, " this isn't in the right place" but... Anyone have an interview coming up in early November? I thought maybe there might be a JC guy or two on the same day. PM me and maybe we can help each other out.
I'm just starting to look at the airline interview process, so bare with me if these questions seem silly.
1) Does the min 100 multi engine time have to be PIC? I've got ~140 hours but most of that is in the T-38 as a student.
2) I know you can only count X number of hours from a sim toward instrument time, but does "simulated instrument" with a safety pilot qualify? I've also got some mil hours under NVGs that we count as instrument.
3) How much does recent flight time count? I'm getting maybe 15 hours a month in the F-16.
4) What are the chances of starting in SLC? I'm coming off active duty and my reserve squadron is at Hill AFB, so it'd be great to stay nearby.
Good morning to all,
Looking for some advice on filling out AirlineApps:
1. I haven't had any speeding tickets but did get a warning a few months ago (for going 5 over speed limit :concernShould I disclose it on my application? Or is it not a big deal?
2. I'm currently an FO on a CRJ for another carrier. AirlineApps is asking if I am typed in any aircraft. Is SIC considered to be a type rating?
3. Is Frasca time considered to be simulator time? Technically, it's an FTD, so I'm not sure if I should add it or not.
Appreciate any advice!

So for those people that do graduate with a large amount of debt what do you suppose they do? Or is there another way to get your training and not be in some sort of debt?
Hi everyone,
I just recently interviewed with Skywest Airlines and was offered a job as a first officer with them, and was told that I would be put into a possible January class. The person I spoke with told me that they would be sending me some information (including some study material) via email but that was last week. Can anyone please tell me how long after an offer has been made before you get all of the information or should I probably call them? I just donot want to make a nuisance of myself. I also wanted to say that I thought it was a great experience going to interview and I am happy to join Skywest.
