Any word on what bases the newhires got in the last 2 classes for the CRJ? Still IAH/MSP/ORD?
The last couple of classes were IAH, MSP, ORD, COS, and DEN. I don't know what the guys currently in sim/IOE are getting though...

Anyone know how the current outlook for 2012 is, in terms of hiring?
What's skywests reserve schedule like? How many days off a month and is it 5 on 3 off generally or how do they structure it. Is it am or pm home reserve and do they have airport reserve? Thanks for the info.
Minimum days off is 11 nowadays. We have PM/AM and also long call reserve lines. The cadence depends on the reserve line you choose, it is typically 5/3 or soWe call airport reserve 'ready reserve' and there is too much of it at times. It is typically assigned at the end of a reserve pairing when you want nothing more than to go home. The way things are moving, new hires aren't spending too much time on reserve right now. But you never know, as a junior captain I've been stuck on reserve now for over 4 years. YMMV.
Are you sure about that? I could swear it was 13 days off/mo. I remember thinking it was nice to have that extra guaranteed day off compared to a line. Are you thinking of the old agreement?
Prim, I was hired in April and spent two months on reserve. It wasn't bad at all, but I lived in base. I know some people have not had such a good experience though.
11 days off for reserve lines.
This.
I'm quite sure. I'm the author of our 'Reserve Survival Guide', know the rules pretty well![]()
Is that document available for public consumption? Sounds like it would be a very interesting read for those considering the regional world.

WRONG! It's 12. I know because of my schedule.
Tallflyer,
I'll sell you some of mine, and I'll throw in the Jet time for free, since I know you...
