I know people were on reserve as fo's for nearly 3 years.From what I was told, it depends on the base, but 3 years is definitely too high. I think that's upgrade time. The reserve can go from a few months to a few weeks, depending on where you are based.
3 year upgrade? Teehee. I know a guy who's been at Skywest for over 4 and is "in the top half" of FOs in his base.
Did not take it that way was just following the "Just Sayin" quotations from preview posts the truth is I had completely forgotten to look in that section. Did not mean to offend if I did I'm sorry. I had similar time, and couldn't get an interview, so I flew to Denver and attended an open interview....was given an interview and was hired within a month....go meet them.any good way of getting a call from Skywest? secrets? advice?

Its a meet and greet. Bring resumes to hand out to the HR reps there. Though this is a time where they get to meet you so be calm and enjoy. It does help. I went to Reno this past Feb, got hired in about a week and a half later. I just have to heal before class.
