SkyWest Hiring FOs

Thanks for the response. Any estimate on how much a reserve on the jet flies in a month? At MSP IAH or ORD.

From what I was told, it depends on the base, but 3 years is definitely too high. I think that's upgrade time. The reserve can go from a few months to a few weeks, depending on where you are based.

Did not take it that way was just following the "Just Sayin" quotations from preview posts the truth is I had completely forgotten to look in that section. Did not mean to offend if I did I'm sorry. Anyways did look in there and found what I needed:) I do sincerely appreciate it. Take care and good luck!:)

You bet, glad I could help.

Go to the their open house May 12th. It may cost some pretty pennies, but you shall be rewarded.

I went to the FTLOPS.com job fair in Vegas about a month ago, got a call within a week. They do appreciate who takes the time to go there and meet in person, associating a face to a bunch of numbers. I do understant however that we all come from different walks of life and one may not necessarily have the time/money (or maybe both) to make the trip all the way to SLC.

I had a free ticket w/ Delta, so I burnt that and I only had to pay for the job fair's admittance and hotel (+ incidentals, + $200 lost at the casino...). If you can put your hands on a free ticket, then you would only have to pay for the hotel (they have skywest rates, $60/night).

Hope this helps!

If you cannot make it there, there is one in ATL on June 11th, that i plan on attending. Let me know of your plans.

I had similar time, and couldn't get an interview, so I flew to Denver and attended an open interview....was given an interview and was hired within a month....go meet them.

What usually happens at these things? Is it more of a meet and greet? Do I need to bring multiple copies of my resume? Kinda curious, I'm gonna check it out just for the hell of it.

Its a meet and greet. Bring resumes to hand out to the HR reps there. Though this is a time where they get to meet you so be calm and enjoy. It does help. I went to Reno this past Feb, got hired in about a week and a half later. I just have to heal before class.

thanks guys, I won't be able to make the May 11 fair but the June 11 in ATL might be possible....just have to keep pluggin away!
