It’s not that hard to figure out if you pain a target on your back.Follow on question then, how did they know he was thousands of miles away.

Because:
Using the free internet on their company device… thousands of miles away.
Logging into the pilot scheduling computer, with an IP address from… thousands of miles away.
Posting on social media about sitting short call reserve, on the beach, with family on an island… thousands of miles away.
And then we can get to the metadata. That’s a treasure trove!
When you show up in front of the big brown desk for the carpet dance, any question they ask you, they already know the answer to.
You’re rarely going to be asked a question that they don’t already have the answer to.
Rumot here is a guy got canned for doing that when the flight canceled. There is a person I know getting reprimanded for being thousands of miles away on short call
I can’t believe I’ve heard more than one version of this happening at multiple airlines. I get reserve kinda sucks, but I’m amazed that “your job is to show up within a given radius of this location and exist” is apparently difficult.Rumot here is a guy got canned for doing that when the flight canceled.
I always feel like I live in a different world when people are complaining about not flying on reserve.
I'm on day 5 of my reserve block. Day one was a 3am call, 5am show for a two day, back home at 7pm. Day three was a 3am call, 5am show for a 3-day.
That's my normal reserve block. I get two days off and then I'm back to another 5-day block, where I'm expecting another 3am call... you get the idea.
Even fractional flying is better than what she’s describing, too. Many EMS gigs are 7 on, 7 off, 12 hour shifts. A lot more liveable than the chain gang schedule of OO reserve.
I personally know someone who was at then Eagle (now Envoy) based in NYC... He would regularly sit SC down in SJU! I thought he was nuts.I can’t believe I’ve heard more than one version of this happening at multiple airlines. Eaglevoy could burn through 60 reserves in a category on a clear day simply due to its own incompetence. It wouldn't take long to get burned.Did all his proverbial dice rolls come out good? Or did he eventually hit snake eyes?
He was lucky. He flowed to AA.Did all his proverbial dice rolls come out good? Or did he eventually hit snake eyes?
Just say it. You want to know if the person was a DEI hire. We know you want to.
I got an invite, but chose not to go. If the regret is high with you, Frozen ya gotta let it goooo let it goooo

So airline pilots don’t want cameras in the cockpit but they’ll let the company track them that much when off duty? Besides shooting his own foot of course.Because:
