I agree with you on that one. We have 430s and Electronic HSI in our trainer airplanes. I always teach my students to load all the approaches on the gps for dme purposes. I still show them how to navigate by primary means but it can be an extremely helpful tool. Part of flying is taking advantage of all available resources. Instrument training is the perfect time to learn all about it. Actually the examiners here expect the students to know how to operate the gps up and down and actually use it on their checkride especially since we keep it IFR certified.

Go to ImageStation and set up an account, then you can upload images from your computer. Once you have images stored there, you right-click on the picture, select 'properties' and copy the URL. When you're making a post, look below the white box where you type words and click on 'image', and paste the URL into the box.

So does ofoto or yahoo photos work as well? Any hints on how to post photos here from either of those sites would be much appreciated.
