It should be plenty warm for shorts, but should we be wearing jeans out of concern from local wildlife?

I'd love to come along .. or something .. if there ends up being any room. Unlike last year, I'm not driving my Extra Big Ass Truck in and I won't get so infuriated with that infuriating parking lot that I'm forced to leave. I hope!

If not, no biggie. I probably wouldn't survive the hike anyway—Juneau is way, WAY more my kind of climate than Nevada. I'm in the middle of getting my winter coat in.
