EDIT: Looks like it is indeed the whole season:

The organisers Red Bull say the one year's break will be used to revise the organisation and commercial aspects of the event, although there has been speculation it has been forced by the global financial crisis.

Strange, considering AOPA Pilot just did a huge article about it. They quoted the Red Bull folks talking about how successful it has been as a marketing tool.

Heehee, I figured. But...... there was a story here in AZ about 11 months ago about foreclosures; and how a guy who owned a (IIRC) P-51 Mustang was getting it repo'd by the bank, and how the economy was just killing him.......

Made me want to take that guy and do this to him: :banghead:
