RAH E190 Rates

Hi, these arent new payrates. It is an extension of the current rate because there previously was none.

Was none? Hmm... Perhaps the former union should take even more blame then. Although perhaps a good move by the company in general. An FO knows they are going to a company that tops out at 37 an hour. The comapny all of a sudden gives the pilot group a pay raise for 5th year on up, we get excited about it? I dont buy it. I think BB is up to something and he's far too smart of a man. Perhaps later when your contract gets voted down, and we can all hope it surely does, BB can say, "Well I gave them a pay raise out of the kindness of my heart." He will sure be looking like a great, generous CEO while the pilots look like they are selfish by demanding more.... He's up to something.... Just sickening regardless that these rates are acceptable for an FO on a plane as large as an E190, when they barely match those of AWAC, ASA, SKW, and Horizon to name a few... And are just barely better then some others who have expired old contracts.....

To answer origninal question...The company cannot count to 100, so its been greived. The other LOA that hasnt been passed is just an ammendment to our current, expired, contract and doesnt reflect a "new" contract. My guess is its something to do with integration, and we may have people who come in as "8" year FOs or something like that.

Or some who are downgraded to greater then 5 years of service ;)? Unless you are saying you know those Midwest and F9 pilots are being placed on the bottom?

Still 190 or not, these rates arent even better then ASA, barely better then some, but not even close to being the best.... For a 99 seat airplane... WOW. What were the Fo's at Midwest making again for flying the 717? Oh yeah and Jetblues new rates?!!!! Wow.... SICKENING regardless.

:panic::panic: Chill out

I don't think you are gonna find any FOs here that think these are the acceptable type of rates we are pursuing in our new TA. I don't like the rates anymore than the next guy but this is really just the union trying to make sure that the top half of the FOs don't top out here in the next year or two while going through the integrations and negotiating our new contract. Im very torn on the issue myself as I think out of principle we should vote no and just continue to fly at our current $37 rate to prove that we aren't gonna put up with these bottom feeding "regional" wages anymore but the other part knows that without this it may be a long time until many of our FOs see another pay raise. Take it however you guys want to but all this drama on all these websites is starting to get the feel like an issue of US weekly. Stop reading into it so much and take it for what it is. JUST AN EXTENSION OF LONGEVITY PAY RAISES FOR FOs. Not a new TA, not new payrates for 100 seat aircraft. Just an extension of our current crappy FO rates.

Also remember that the company hasn't agreed on this yet and they probably won't and even if they do it still has to goto a vote.

The parties agree to extend the duration of First Officer Pay rates for all aircraft types through year eight ( 8 ) as follows:

YEAR
1, $22.95
2, $30.88
3, $35.52
4, $36.62
5, $38.00
6, $40.00
7, $43.50
8, $45.50

Absolutely disgusting. And this guy Bedford pretends to be a religious person? What a freaking joke. I make more as an XJT FO flying a 50-seater than these pay rates flying an E190!!! Grow some balls over there.

Also doesn't have anything to do with the 190 rates.

Are you joking? Then what exactly are 190 FOs being paid? This is the new 190 pay along with the other seats indefinitely. First it was temp flying for Midwest, then you buy them, next it was frontier that was going to be run separately. Then you set up shop in DEN and move the Airbus to MKE. How are you going to belive that your comapny actually has ANY interst in giving you fair prices 5 years from now in your "new" contract? And just like everything else your union will go a long with it, because like everything else it's not your fault.... What gets people more than your company is RAH pilots playing dumb.

And your company has been cut by 1/3, lots of guys on the street, slowly losing market share, etc. etc. Join the club.

Would you rather make $2/hr more or have a job and an upgrade to come to? That is the decision commuter guys have to make.

Your kind of scared "rationale" is exactly what mgmt. loves from its pilots.

Umm, it's reality.

Losers:
ACA
Comair
Expressjet
Air Wisconsin

Winners:
Skywest
Pinnacle
Republic
Gojets
Mesa
Colgan

It's not just at the commuters. SWA built it's current route network from guys who worked for half of what the majors were paying.

There should be a forum named "Armchair Quarterback"
:yeahthat: RJET guys I would just ignore all these people from other regionals who have nothing better to do but to spit hate all over internet boards. Those of us that think constructively know you guys are in negotiations and are doing everything possible to get good rates. Good luck.

I don't think the Mesa guys would put themselves in a "winner" category. I find it amazing Skywest hasn't furloughed yet as well. If Pinnacle was as overstaffed as they are, our management woulda cut us loose in a heartbeat.

Homeboy you need a hug. I wouldn't include PNCL in that group. Good job voting that down guys.

First stop acting like myself or any RAH pilot bought anyone or made any of these decisions.

Secondly, the 190 rates are a whole different can of worms. Currently our contract has the same pay for all FOs. It we get this pay extension or not the 190 guys will top out at the same pay level as anyone else. There is nothing that says anything in this about 190s or 170s or Airbus or any other type plane. It just states that the FOs will have a longer pay longevitiy. When the 190 rates get negotiated then we will cross that bridge. Until then the union just wanted to make sure that 500+ people wouldn't be topping out in pay in the next year. It seems like some of you guys feed off of this drama and are just waiting to jump at the oppritunity to put down another group of pilots. Stop twisting the facts so you can rationalize putting all of us down. These aren't new rates. This just an LOA stating that the FO pay scale will go on for another 4 years.

What will you think if you hit the street, and more flying gets placed with RAH due to their plane they fly.... Would you just sit back and say its ok? Or let alone, we all know you want to fly the 777 one day, thus your old screen name. Do you think it's acceptable to fly a plane that is comparable to that plane, for a less rate (Midwest flying 717, now 190 being flown by RAH) and worry about a payrate later? But during the time inbetween you are making only half of what you SHOULD be making (Compare FO rates at RAH/Midwest on barely now tops out at 45, the other was 100)?

In addition I have gotten calls from you on this very issue. When it happen, the first call I got on my called ID was, "Marcus." ;) Remember that ;) and how annoyed and hot you were about it ;).... Has your boy Keith gotten to you or something?
