Knowing him, I think I disagree with that statement.


And if anything positive comes from this, it’s to stop some of these loony states from trying to legalize certain substances that should not be, and, for the FAA to finally address pilot mental health, depression, and anxiety without making them long term/permanent career grounding events.

Whatever happens, he'll have to pay the consequences. A huge focus will be on his mental state more so than just what he did, which if he's telling the truth, technically didn't involve any desire to harm others. Given that mental health and not flying an airplane are the focus of this investigation and trial, I think the only ones on this forum who really have much to add are our resident 50 Cent celebrity look-alike and any AMEs or others with psych backgrounds lurking around here.
 
Again, it doesn't matter what we're debating. Court and prison is appropriately happening for this horses ass...
