Question for AMF applicants

Holding your emotions back isn't good for you, Mike. Let it out before you get an ulcer!

They don't even clear 25k. And someone can correct me if I'm wrong there is no way to go from right to left in the bro without going to the 99, metro/1900.
Flight instruct until you can hold a 'jo/99. Does your body good.

It actually can be done. Of course it all depends though! CVG's very own "Quagmire" sort of did it.

I thought you needed PIC turbine time? Or is that waived if Cincy needs a captain?

I think he went chieftan for two weeks, brasilia FO for a year or so, Metro for a month, and then Brasilia CA. Like I said, it all depends.

He may be a dummy(:D), but he's probably got more Turbine PIC than I do total time. I know he has more turbine time than I do total time.

For some reason I happen to have the employee handbook on the coffee table next to my laptop... At least in writing it is possible to go from emb FO to PIC without going to a different type. You would still need to meet the requirements for the brasilia, which are a certain amount of PIC time, and turbine time, though, not necessarily at the same time.

You're not talking about Mr. Connery are you?

He's been gone for a while now. He's flying Lears with one of your training captain buddies I believe for Delta Elite.

We have who does Quagmire type shenanigans around here.

Oh is that where AA ended up?

Yep. People are saying that the industry is stagnant and that there are no jobs out there. Honestly if you believe that there are no jobs out there, you aren't looking hard enough. There are plenty of people getting hired a going to other places at AMF. I'm way up the seniority list these days.

There are jobs out there to be had I know a fellow 1900 Captain and JC'er who has interviewed for a lead fire attack with the forest service, and recently for a DC-3(Turbine)/Twin Otter smoke jumper job.

but its DELTA!!!1!1! Its gotta be good, right???

(I really dont have a clue, just asking... seriously)

It's an excellent job, for two excellent pilots and more importantly, two HILARIOUS guys. AA did some of my training at Amflight and worked in the same base as Mr. Connery.
