PUBNAT3

Interesting!

And I can tell you from now that there is no method to the way they send out the emails...we thought of everything during PUBNAT2

I think that this trend applies to everything that the FAA does during the hiring process, not just the emails.

Any idea over what period the e-mails got sent out? Like everyone I'm sweating this thing out, but if it's not going to happen, I'm wondering when it's time to face reality ...

With PUBNAT2, there were a few e-mails that went out on Thursday 10/9, with most others coming out on the following day, 10/10. I just looked at mine and I got it at 1419EDT on the 10th. There were a few stragglers the next Monday or Tuesday, but I think everyone who was selected had an e-mail within 3-5 business days from when the first ones went out. What few offers came later were within a few days of, or shortly after the KC PEPC, which leads me to believe these were a result of people turning down offers or there was something found to be disqualifying at the PEPC.

If you can't stand to wait, I imagine the folks in the Careers Division will probably divulge if you have been selected or not.

Thanks for the note. Sounds like tomorrow might be a good bet. Here's to it.

Question to my fellow Pub Nuts ...
Did you guys put the counties down for the areas you want to work in. I figured airport codes should be easier... I hope that is not going to hurt me :banghead:

I got mine! Not my first choice, but I got Corpus Christi Tower. This is from the email...

"We have scheduled PEPCs for the weeks of:

February 23, 2009 in Jamaica, NY,
March 23, 2009 in Chicago, IL, and
April 20, 2009 in Los Angeles, CA."

My email begins with my last name of S.

I hope I get a Tower position in Florida... I sure hope it's not NYC center!!!

let me ask my question again... I used airport/ city codes to identify my preferences. Has anybody else done the same or did you put down the counties?
