E-mails this week? I think so! Congrats to those who know already - hopefully I'll be posting the same. Regardless, I'll be excited to hear where people are getting picked for when the info comes out ...
 
The guy I talked to Thursday morning who told me what center I was picked for said emails would be this week or next when I asked him about PEPCs.

He mentioned something about a contractor, I'm not sure if he meant they were sending mails or setting up PEPCs. I was under the impression he meant PEPCs, but am not entirely sure. But he did not seem to know when or where PEPCs would be, because of the contractor situation.

The contractor is hired to generate the emails. The FAA does this for both the Geo Prefs and the PEPC invites. PEPCs themselves are conducted by FAA employees.
 
I was told the referral lists need to be audited first. I'm not sure what the exact procedure for this would be. But there is the possibility that any information given over the phone regarding facility location may be incorrect.
 
I tried calling the Career Line a couple times today and was told both times that I'd need to wait. I wonder if Honu set off a string of anxious calls that got them to clamp down on it until the emails come out.
 
Dose anyone know the min quals are for a military controller trying to land a job with the FAA?


I'm thinking about extending my enlistment and going 15Q(ATC) with the army if I don't get picked up by the FAA this time around.

if you want to apply VRA then you have to have 52 weeks as a CTO i believe. Otherwise you can apply for a public announcement if you have a pulse.
 
It's really not funny when people post things like that! Meanwhile, we're all sitting here pulling our hair out.

To those of you who got emails: what's the first letter of your email, and the first letter of your last name?

Hrm, the post above me just disappeared. It was buy some guy with two posts.
 
I did get the e-mail, I was quick to post which was why it was so short. I can't copy and paste yet as I am on my phone. Myself included, the couple that I know of where between A-E for last names, don't know if that was a coincidence. And the email address started with a number.

And I can tell you from now that there is no method to the way they send out the emails...we thought of everything during PUBNAT2
