I don't know when you guys' referral list are coming out, but can Jan 12th hurry up and come? We Lousiana hopefuls just wanna be thrown into the pool with the PUBNAT3 and possibly PUBNAT4 when the Panels meet!
 
I was really hoping the whole louisiana thing would be sorted out before the panel met in January since they were asking for people from PUBNAT2. Does everyone think that those will just be thrown in with the panels? I know there is not a lot of time left.
 
Well then, January 12th at the very latest.

We have waited since June to get this far, whats two more weeks going to hurt? Just be happy things are about to start moving again.....:D

You are absolutely correct, two more weeks wont kill us.
Also do you know who determines if you make the referral list or not?

huh??? you get the geo prefs first. then that closes, and a few weeks later the Refferal Lists are made, and then the panels meet.
 
:confused: Wait a minute... if you got a geo pref letter-- you are on the list?? I thought not everyone would be on the referral list...

Really?! So everyone who is deemed qualified on the application gets invited to test. Then all well qualified on the AT-Sat get a geo pref letter. And everyone who gets a letter, gets on the referral list.

For some reason I thought getting on the referral list was the hard part- that it is generated based on individual facility needs and the preferences.:panic:
 
Getting picked up at the panel is the hard part. Also, you will only make the referral list if the geo preferences you chose are represented at the hiring panel. If Washington and Oregon aren't hiring and you put those states down, you don't make the list.

Ok maybe I had that process switched. I guess it's been that long since it all happened. I could've swore we made the list then they sent us the emails but maybe not. Anyhow, glad I'm pass that stage!

well based on your signature you will only be considered for Louisiana (if thats how they are working those LA emails). otherwise you will have to wait for the Panels to meet for PUBNAT7
 
ok people... stop being so confusing :)

Everyone who passes the AT-SAT gets a geo pref email.
Not everyone who gets a geo pref email will make it on the referral list.
Not everyone who's on the referral list will be selected.

End of story.
 
Sooo... everyone will be on it. Even people who scored Q? Can you be on it twice? I really thought I had a grasp on this process until now...
