Pubnat 5/6

Had a great PEPC experience, and met some ZLA folks.

I didn't realize how hot Chicago was and how many brick homes there were. Stayed with my friends up in Glenview and boy every home there were made out of brick, but the community was great to live in.

Good luck to all the rest of the PEPC and trads!

Here's to more waiting

judging by your sig, it's been a month, i would get on the phone with my HR rep if i were you. Of course it is possible the personel manager at you facility is at the PEPC right now, mine talked about PEPCs he had been to previously.

I actually sent an email to c.s. about a week ago - she said I would hear something by 6/29 - names were submitted 7/1. I guess I'm just getting impatient. I've been tempted to contact ZOB - I only live about 35 min from the facility. I just don't want to step on any toes.

c.s. was at the PEPC on Tuesday(and maybe other days too). That may be why she wasn't able to get back to you. Also, shes going on vacation for 2 weeks, so I wouldn't count on hearing anything from her until after then.

*Cue incessant whining about HR reps not getting anything done and then taking 2 week vacations*

Yea I saw her there on Monday. Emailed her my forms because she's my rep, and then got the automated response that she'll be out of the office until July 13th. So I just faxed my forms in too, in case she really never gets them before that date. They were supposed to be in within 10 days.

Question for others who have completed their PEPC about the forms on the Checklist we are supposed to submit. I am required to submit the SF 144, SF 15, DD 214, and FAA Fact Sheet. The first 3 seem to only be applicable if I was a former government employee or veteran (I am neither). Just wondering if it's normal for everyone to have to submit these or if I should ask my HR person about it. Thanks :)

Got my TOL!

I emailed DB this morning to make sure he received my OF-306 last week. A couple hours later...TOL! Coincidence?

Disclaimer: Do not unnecessarily burden your HR reps on my account.

SF144 - State whether your application correctly states your prior federal service. You must sign and submit.

SF15 and DD214 - Are you a veteran or currently serving in the military? If not, then it does not apply to you and does not need to be submitted.

Fact Sheet - You must sign and submit.

By the way, if any traditional route people are trying to contact H.W. to schedule their Medical Exam, she is at the PEPC and won't return your call until Monday. She will respond if you email her. She told me that the deadlines for completing drug test, MMPI, Med Exam that are stated in your TOL are not enforced.

Are you traditional? At what point were you told to complete and OF-306? I had my interview last Friday at ZNY and still no TOL, I suspect mine will be delayed because of the PEPC this week, but I have not heard anything from my rep, and I am not going to bother her till next week anyway.

You will receive 3 forms via email after your interview (I got them a week after my interview. A week after I submitted the forms I got my TOL.)

jkwan77-- I don't have any prior federal service (or military service) either. I asked my HR rep about the SF-144 form because I noticed that I'd basically be leaving the whole form blank and just signing it. She told me that I DO NOT need to submit the SF-144.

People who've received their TOL... The email says we have to send the fingerprint card to OKC, then below that it says we have to send it to the Kansas City address. I'm assuming we send one copy to OKC and one to Kansas City?

I was specifically told to submit the SF-144 by July 3rd and I don't have any federal service. I would rather send something they don't need than risk omitting it completely. Besides, the form just asks if your application is correct. You check "yes" sign and date and done. Better safe than sorry.

My emails says NOT to send them to OKC because they will have to forward them to the address that you are supposed to mail it to in Kansas City. In my case it's Fort Worth. Either way it's written in all caps saying THERE WILL BE A DELAY IF YOU SEND THEM TO OKC.

We must have completely different formatted emails because mine could not be any clearer.

I doubt a copy of fingerprint cards would even be valid due to the loss of clarity in the fingerprint itself.

You verify everything is complete and accurate on your application when you check a box and submit your application.

Yes, you obviously wouldn't fax or scan a fingerprint card. I was provided a mailing address for OKC.

Our emails have the same formatting, I'm sure. My email in the second section uses singular form "fingerprint card," and "...you may complete this fingerprint card." Yet in the first section it said I'd be receiving two cards. Hence my wanting to verify that both cards need to go to the same address. Logically, it makes sense that the same place wouldn't need two identical fingerprint cards. But who knows. The point is, I'm just wanting to make sure.

Then why does the form say "Does the application or resume that you submitted, for the position to which you are being appointed, list all of your federal government civilian and uniformed service, include beginning and ending dates, as well as the type of appointment and work schedule for civilian service? Yes or No

Why would this form even exist?

Why risk not sending something in?
